What are Labels?

Labels serve as temporary status indicators for projects, offering quick insights into key information and hurdles.

By default, each firm has two labels: "Urgent" and "Waiting on Client." Users can create up to 50 labels in total for their firm and apply a maximum of four labels to a single project or series.

How to Add Labels to a Single Project

To add a label, follow these simple steps.

  1. Navigate to the Projects page.

  2. Click into the project you'd like to add a label to.

  3. At the top of the screen, click on the bar at the top of the screen. You'll see existing labels your firm uses populate in a drop down menu.

  4. Click on the label you'd like to apply. You can add up to 4 labels per project.

How to Create Labels

To create a label, follow these simple steps.

  1. Navigate to the Projects page.

  2. Click on the project you'd like to create a label for.

  3. At the top of the screen, click on the bar at the top of the screen. You'll see existing labels your firm uses populate in a drop down menu.

  4. Start typing the name of the new label you'd like to make.

  5. Click on the "Create [name of label]" option at the bottom of the drop down menu. The color for the label will automatically be chosen, and automatically applied to the current project/series.

  6. To change the color of the new label, find it in the drop down menu below (all of the labels will appear alphabetical). Click the three vertical dots to the right of the label and choose the new color. The color will create a bolder font and border with a pastel version of the color filling the box.

How to Remove Labels

If a label is no longer relevant to a project or it's series, follow these steps to remove it.

  1. Navigate to the Projects page.

  2. Click on the project you'd like to remove a label for.

  3. At the top of the screen, click on the bar at the top of the screen. An X will now appear next to the labels that are applied to the project and it's series.

  4. Click the X. The project will save automatically.

How to Delete Labels

Deleting labels is easy, but remember: if you delete a label, it'll delete it from all projects throughout your firm.

  1. Navigate to the Projects page.

  2. Click on the project that has the label you'd like to delete from all projects.

  3. At the top of the screen, click on the bar at the top of the screen. You'll see all the existing labels populate in the drop down menu.

  4. Click the three vertical dots to the right of a label you want to delete.

  5. Click Delete label.

  6. Confirm you'd like to delete the label in the confirmation box.
