You will visit the My Work tab often since it will provide you with a high-level view of your upcoming week with multiple viewing options. You can work directly from this page if you'd like as you have the ability to mark tasks as complete. You can also click on a task to make any edits, read or leave comments and mark it as in progress or complete!
You will see three tabs along the top of the My Work page. You can either view all overdue tasks, view tasks by status or view by project.
When viewing by status, tasks will fall into one of several categories: Not Started, In Progress, and Complete. In this area, you will also be able to see the task's state (if it is blocked, overdue or up next).
Not Started tasks have no work started yet and still need to be completed. These are the tasks that are assigned to you that are upcoming.
Tasks that are In Progress mean that there has been some work started on the task but it is not fully completed yet.
Tasks that have been Completed will be marked as complete in the project profile and will show up under that status section.
Overdue tasks have not been completed but the task due date has passed and should be prioritized first. Overdue tasks will show up in their own tab on My Work. The due date will also show up on every task near the right hand side of the screen. The due dates are also color coded: red date means overdue, orange means due today, green is due tomorrow and grey is upcoming.
Tasks assigned to you can be Blocked for various reasons, but this typically happens when information is missing or you're unable to complete the task. Update the task comments with any relevant details and make sure to follow up so it can be resolved and completed!
If a task is Next up in the project, a purple Next bar will appear on that task letting you know that task might be a good place to get started!
Please note: A task can fall into more than one category(ie: A task is overdue but also incomplete).
You can also view tasks by project. In this view, your tasks will be shown separated out by what project they are in, allowing you to easily work on specific projects. Here, you will also see the state of the task noting if the task is next, blocked or overdue!
Please note: If a task with a due date different than the week selected has been completed, it will not show up. The week the task is due must be selected above in order for it to be seen.
