Clients are who you're doing work for, such as a business or person. These are what projects will be associated with.
Contacts are the individuals or point of contact associated with a client, such as a business owner.

How to Create an Individual Client
To create an individual client, follow these steps. Remember, even if a feild is not requred, it can be helpful when assigning a new project to a client, especially if you have a large amount of clients.
Go to the Clients tab on the left panel and click Create new client.
Fill in the details on the new client page:
Name (up to 75 characters)
Business (e.g. Pittsburgh Pierogi Sandwiches)
Person (e.g Jane Doe or The Doe Family)
Your own firm for internal work, like onboarding clients
Description (not required)
Client overview (e.g. owns 3 business across 2 states, independent contractor, etc)
Links to document storage, like Dropbox or Google Drive
Location (not required)
Website (not required)
Assignees (not required)
This will be who on your team will be the primary assignees for this client's work
Priority Level (not required)
Services (not required)
What services are mostly associated with this client's work
Remember to hold down control or command to select more than one services
Active or Inactive Status
Click Create Client when you're all set or click Create and add another.
How to Create a Contact & Associate Them with a Client
After you've added a client, you can create a new contact or associate an existing contact with that client.
You can create a new contact through any one of the two options - (1) while in the client's page, click Add contact, then choose Create new contact from the drop down list. Alternatively, (2) you can go to the Contacts page from the left panel, then click the blue Create new contact button.
From here, simply add the contact's information.
Once the contact is created, you'll see they are not associated with any existing clients.
Navigate back to the client you wish to associate them with and add them as a contact by clicking the Add contact button, then choosing the new contact from the drop down.
How to Designate a Primary Contact
If you only have one contact associated with a client, that contact will automatically be assigned as the primary contact.
If you have multiple contacts associate with a client, you can select which contact you would like to be listed as the primary while on the client's profile page. Simply click the 3 dots to the right of their name, then assign them as the new primary contact.

Yes, a client can have more than one contact associated. You will be able to see this on the Clients tab if both clients are on the same page.
