Clients and Contacts are a crucial part of your account. Clients are going to be who you actually do the work for- the projects will be assigned out to clients. Contacts will be the individuals associated with each client. Below you'll learn

How to Create a Client

Go to the Clients tab and click create new client. Fill in the details on the new client page including Name, Description, Location, Website, Assignees, Priority Level and Services and click create client when you're all set or click create and add another. You'll also see the capability here to mark a client as active or inactive.

How to Create a Contact

Go to the Contacts tab and click Create new contact. Fill in the details on the New Contact page and click create contact when you're all set or click create and add another.

How to Associate a Contact with a Client

Go to the Clients tab and select the client you want to associate a contact with. Once on the client profile, click add contact and you can either create a new contact or select an existing contact from the dropdown menu to associate it with the client.

How to Designate a Primary Contact

If you only have one contact associated with a client, they will automatically be marked as the primary contact. If you have multiple, you can select which contact you would like to be listed as the primary. Contacts will be visible on the client profile. You will also be able to see all the clients a contact is associated with from the contacts tab!

Can a Client have more than one Contact associated with them?

Yes, a client can have more than one contact associated. You will be able to see this on the Clients tab if both clients are on the same page.

Can a Contact be listed as a Primary Contact for more than one Client?

Yes, a contact can be the Primary Contact for more than one client. This can be seen on the contact's profile page. If a client has more than one contact associated, click the "…" next to a different contact to make it the Primary Contact for the client.
