How to Create a Contact & Associate Them with a Client
After you've added a client, you can create a new contact or associate an existing contact with that client.
You can create a new contact through any one of the two options - (1) while in the client's page, click Add contact, then choose Create new contact from the drop down list. Alternatively, (2) you can go to the Contacts page from the left panel, then click the blue Create new contact button.
From here, simply add the contact's information.
Once the contact is created, you'll see they are not associated with any existing clients.
Navigate back to the client you wish to associate them with and add them as a contact by clicking the Add contact button, then choosing the new contact from the drop down.
How to Designate a Primary Contact
If you only have one contact associated with a client, that contact will automatically be assigned as the primary contact. However, a client can have more than one contact associated. You will be able to see this on the Clients tab if both clients are on the same page.
If you have multiple contacts associate with a client, you can select which contact you would like to be listed as the primary while on the client's profile page. Simply click the 3 dots to the right of their name, then assign them as the new primary contact.
Keep in mind, a contact can be the primary contact for more than one client.
