What add-ons are
An add-on is an extra feature that you can layer on top of your existing subscription. You only pay for the add-ons you choose, and you can use them with any plan tier.
Who can purchase add-ons
Add-ons are available on every tier and with any billing frequency, so you don't need to upgrade your plan to get one.
Add-ons are managed by account admins under the Billing tab
How to find and add an add-on
Go to Firm Settings.
Select Billing.
Find the add-on you want in the add-ons section.
Follow the prompts to add it to your account.
When you add an add-on, it's simply added to your existing invoice.
How add-on billing works
Add-ons are added to your invoice. You don't receive a separate bill. The add-on appears as an additional line on your regular subscription invoice.
Add-ons follow your subscription's billing frequency.
If you're on a monthly subscription, you pay for the add-on monthly.
If you're on a yearly subscription, you pay for the add-on yearly.
You can't pay for an add-on on a different schedule than your subscription. For example, a team on a monthly plan can't pay for an add-on annually.
Mid-cycle purchases are prorated. If you add an add-on partway through your subscription period, you'll see a prorated charge covering the time remaining in your current billing period. This charge is processed immediately when you confirm. After that, the add-on is billed at its full price on your regular invoice each billing period.
For example, if you're on a yearly subscription and add Document Storage halfway through the year, you'll pay roughly half of the annual add-on price right away. At your next renewal, the add-on is billed at the full yearly price along with your subscription.
Available add-ons
Document Storage: lets you upload and store files on client profiles and projects, and attach files to comments. It includes 100 GB of storage, and you can buy more in 100 GB increments. See our Document Storage article for details on how it works.
