Assignee - the team member who is assigned the task. You can also have an assignee at the project level meaning all the tasks in this workflow will automatically be assigned to the designated assignee!

Budgeted Time - the estimated amount of time it'll take to complete a task. You'll be able to use budgeted times to see team member capacity and balance workloads!

Blocked - a task that cannot currently be completed. Common reasons for a task being blocked can be waiting on the client, missing information and waiting for a response from a team member.

Checklist - a checkable list that you can associate with a task. Typical examples of checklists would be a list of documents or step by step instructions.

Clients - These are the individuals or businesses who you do projects for. You can view client-specific information as well as associated contacts on their Client profile.

Client Status - Clients can be marked as active or inactive. Active clients are clients that you have open projects for, inactive clients do not have active projects but probably have archived work.

Contacts - Contacts are individuals that you can associate with clients. You can have multiple contacts associated with one client and you can also have a contact be associated with multiple clients. Association will help manage client relationships.

Comment - A timestamped notation that is viewable by anyone who can see the project. This is a great place for you to add what’s missing in a project, ask questions or to @mention your teammates. You can leave a comment on either a project profile or directly on a task.

Description - The description section is where you can put your instructions for the project or task that are project or client specific.

Due Date - The date by which a project needs to be completed. Think of your due date as the deadline.

My Work - This is where each team member should go to see what tasks they need to be working on for the day. It is broken up into three groupings of tasks: blocked, incomplete, complete as well as a separate tab for any overdue tasks.

Notifications - Notifications are in app reminders of specific activity on a project or task. Each team member has the ability to select which types of notifications they want to receive from the Notifications tab.

Project - Anything a client will pay you to do. You may call this a job or an engagement. But, if your client is paying you to do something and you want to track it, you want to create a project. Projects contain tasks. You should bundle tasks that have to be done on the same set schedule within the same project. You can have unlimited projects and making projects automatically recur will keep your client work from falling through the cracks.

Tasks - A step within a project that needs to be completed. You should create a task for any activity that you want to track and make sure your employees are completing in each project. Each task list in each project can be customized to each client. In this way, you can create a different workflow for each client and ensure you follow those and only those steps for each client. You can also assign each task to a different team member.

Task Statuses - Provides information as to what is going on with a specific task and where it is at in the workflow. The task status can be either blocked, next, incomplete or complete.

Team Member - The users that have access to your account. You can also assign team members to projects.

Templates -A template is a standardized procedure that is meant to be used again and again to create projects for clients. It is a tool for creating projects. You don’t want to make templates client-specific. Your template should contain those tasks you have to do for every client but not all tasks you have to do for all clients. Templates are not projects but they do help you make projects.
