Heads up! Editing a project series will update all entries in the series!
Edits made to a repeating project series will affect all entries that have not yet started. For example, if you edit a quarterly tax preparation project by adding a task to collect payment from a client, that change will apply to all upcoming instances of the series. However, projects that are in progress or completed will remain unaffected.
How to edit a repeating project series
1. Navigate to the repeating project that you want to make the changes on from your projects tab. This will take you to one specific due date in that repeating project series.
2. Once you’re in the repeating project, you’re going to click the blue text that details the repeat schedule for this project. It can be found underneath the project name on a project profile.
3. You’ll then be brought to the repeating project series page where you can make all your edits.
4. Once you’ve made your updates you can select to roll the changes you’ve made out to all not started projects OR you can select a specific date for those changes to take place.
Simply make your selections and save!
