Getting Started
Is Jetpack Workflow mobile and tablet friendly? Yes. Jetpack Workflow works in the browser on any device. There's no dedicated app, but you can add a shortcut to your home screen that works like one. See How to Create a Jetpack Workflow Shortcut on iPhone, iPad & Android.
Are there any integrations available? Not currently. When integrations are added, we'll update the knowledge base and notify customers.
Templates & Projects
What's the difference between a series and a standalone project? A standalone project is a one-off piece of work for a client. A series is a project that repeats automatically on a schedule - weekly, monthly, quarterly, or whatever cadence you set. You choose which type you want when creating a project from a template.
What happens if I edit a template that has active projects? Edits to a template will flow through to any projects created from it - but only to projects that haven't been started yet. Projects that are in progress or completed won't be affected. See Impact of Edits to Templates, Series, and Individual Entries for a full breakdown.
Can I undo a completed project? Yes. Find the project on the Projects page (filter by Status → Complete to locate it), then click the green checkmark icon next to the project name to reopen it. You can also open the project itself and uncheck any task - this will automatically move it back to In Progress. See Completing a Project for details.
How do I view completed projects? On the Projects page, open the Filters panel and change the Status filter to Complete, then hit Update Filters. You can layer on additional filters like client, assignee, or date range to narrow things down further.
Clients & Contacts
What's the difference between a client and a contact? A client is the business or individual you do work for - they're the record that projects get created against. A contact is a specific person associated with that client, like their bookkeeper or office manager. One client can have multiple contacts, and a contact can be linked to more than one client.
Team & Permissions
Why can't I see certain features or options? Access to features like creating templates, editing projects, or managing clients can be restricted by your account admin through permissions settings. If something is missing that you expect to see, reach out to your account admin to check your access level. See Permissions Overview.
How do I reassign work when a team member leaves? Before removing a team member's account, reassign their open projects and tasks to another team member - this step is important as it can't be undone once the account is deleted. On the Projects page, use the Assignee filter to pull up all their work, then use Bulk Edit to reassign projects in one go. For tasks and series, you'll need to go into each project or series individually. See Add, Edit & Remove Team Members and Bulk Edit Projects.
How do I change a team member's name or profile photo? Each team member can update their own profile by clicking their name in the bottom left corner of the navigation menu. From there, click the camera icon to upload a new photo, or click Edit Profile to update their display name or time zone. Admins cannot change this on behalf of another user.
Account & Billing
How do I add or remove seats? Go to My Account → Billing → Manage Plan to adjust your seat count. Note that you can't reduce seats below your current number of active users - you'll need to remove a user first if you want to decrease. See Add or Remove User Seats.
Can I export my data? Yes - from multiple places. On the Projects page or the Tasks page, use the Export Table button in the top right corner to download your current filtered view as a .csv (up to 1,000 records). On the Clients page, use the Export option to download your client and contact data. See How to Export Your Clients and Contacts.
